Your Child May Feel Dumb, Bad, Broken or Like a Failure. In Reality, They May Be Twice Exceptional
When a child has both advanced abilities and lagging skills at the same time, they're called twice exceptional or 2e. They don't neatly fit into gifted programs or special ed. A lack of understanding of these kids is pervasive. That's what makes the 2e journey so complex. But please know, help is here . . .

A Letter From Debbie
I know what’s it’s like raising bright & quirky kids – it starts at point A, with the struggle to figure out what’s going on. How can they can be so highly capable in some areas and struggle in other areas that typical kids find easy?
At first you’re not sure where to look for answers. As a mom on this path, I read countless books, took various trainings, consulted with various professionals, tried different treatments, classroom interventions, conversations with teachers, and had many sleepless nights.
Then gradually, through trial and error, and interviewing the top experts in the field, I found an approach that works to get to point B. It’s a structured process of experimentation to find what works best for the unique way your child’s brain is wired. This is the approach I use with my own kids and with my clients.
The best way to share it with you is to follow two next steps. First get the summit Access Pass so you can dive into the talks on your own schedule and download audio, video and transcripts.
Then, join us for an amazing opportunity to work directly with experts and an amazing community of other parents in our IdeaLab learning community. This is truly a dream come true for me, to connect the most sought after experts with struggling families, no matter where you live in the world.
In the IdeaLab, you’ll get the village of professionals, strategies and support that I wish I had about a decade ago. If I can make the journey easier for you, that’s an excellent investment of my time. You'll receive an invitation to join us in the IdeaLab after purchasing the Access Pass.
There is no doubt in my mind that every bright and quirky child can have a beautiful life that works for the way his or her brain is wired. You just need the tools and strategies to help it unfold.
I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, confused and deeply worried. I can help you out of that place, along with a community of people who get it and really care.
The Bright & Quirky team and I would love to work with you so you can experience relief, peace, and the light back in your child’s eyes.
